I had a lot of fun last night at the party, except that we unknowingly went to the Casino on karaoke night... Oy. I think everyone had a pretty good time, except the girls who wanted to stay were sad because Laura (the guest of honor) left to go home at 10. So each of the girls who stayed had 6 drinks (over the course of about 3 hours) and I had half a cup of Pepsi and a cup of cranberry juice and 7up. Amy was goony after the first 3 shots, but Mary didn't seem any different until after the 6th, and Kim never even seemed buzzed. Maybe she drinks guys under the table down in Texas. Who knows?

I occasionally read these "Dear Prudence" letters... Please read the second one in this compilation.

The headline says, "Toxins From WTC Disaster Harmed Fetuses."

Text in the article says, "In their study, Mt. Sinai doctors focused on 182 women who were pregnant and near Ground Zero -- either when the disaster occurred or within the next three weeks. They compared their findings with other pregnant patients who were not exposed to the pollutants.

Their results: There were no differences in length of pregnancies, average birth weight, preterm births, or low birth weight between babies in the two groups."

My mom can be such a bitch. She was all wonderful the other night, telling me how much she liked my haircut, and today she was complimenting my new clothes that Joe bought me to wear to the weddings. But then we were talking about ironing the shirts I got and I asked her how much a good iron should cost, her tone totally changed and she snapped, "Well, if you're not going to use it and take care of it, then don't bother buying one."

What?

Ge-awd.

Until last night, I didn't realize exactly how much I missed Wyatt and Loretta. I had a lot of fun. Especially when we almost set the studio on fire. I like it when most people can get over their insecurities and have a good time. That's right, I said most people. I had an excellent time. Here's to friends.

I drove 242 miles on Saturday and 596 on Sunday. My car is 2 years, 6 months, and 8 days old and it already has 69,879 miles on it.

"how to get rid of sour necks"

What could that person possibly be searching for?

"Fisher, who works at OSU’s Mansfield campus, also found that when anonymity was guaranteed, women reported having sex for the first time at a younger age. Men [who were] guaranteed anonymity raised the age when they first had sex." (article)

Wow. I thought I updated on both Thursday and Friday, but apparently they never went through.

Anyway, Saturday was a busy day because Joe and I had to go with Kevin up to Rochester and go to the meeting at Oak Hill. We got our assignments for the PGA Championship and thankfully Joe and I are working all the same zones. Joe and Kevin were very sexually aroused by the course (apparently it happens to people who love golf so very much) but I just said, "The grass looks pretty nice." What do I know about great golf courses? Then we went to Target and I spent some money that I don't really have. Good times.

Sunday was a beotch because we went to church then had to drive my brother back to Pathfinder Village (which is where he lives). It is a 5 hour drive. One way. So we left at 12:15pm and didn't get back until 10:50pm. I am so sick of driving. The only reason I even did it is because my parents pay me to do the drive, because they don't want to. We all love my brother very much, but that is one crappy car ride, especially to do it all in one day. Plus it rained a lot. Rock on.

This week is pretty busy... party at Brett's on tuesday, Albright Knox with Kimmy and Wendy on wednesday, Laura's b'ette party on thursday, hopefully the rodeo on friday, and Laura's wedding on Saturday. At least I don't have to work at this one.

I am going to try to do absolutely nothing today.
