Screw Flanders

Saturday, September 13

Too bad someone is dead, but now at least I know why flags were at half-staff this morning on the campus at RIT but nowhere else.

Don't be fooled by the rocks that J.Lo's got, because apparently she ain't got Ben Affleck no more.
If that is true, this is the happiest day of my life. This week.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who just days ago were planning their weekend wedding, have split up, sources close to the couple tell PEOPLE.
The break-up comes in the wake of their decision Wednesday to postpone their Sunday wedding in Montecito, Calif., before as many as 400 guests. The couple blamed the delay on excessive media attention surrounding the event, but reports persisted that Affleck was having second thoughts about the nuptials. A PEOPLE source says it was Affleck who initiated the split.
While it was unclear whether the separation was permanent, Lopez was "devastated," according to one friend. The star was in tears, sources said, on Wednesday as she called guests telling them of the wedding's postponement.

A Capital Quiz of Stately Proportions

I got 10/11 correct. It said, "Clearly you have been studying all about the United States!"

Well, Johnny Cash is dead. I sure hope MTV feels like an asshole for not giving him the VMA for "Hurt," instead giving the award to that no-talent ass-clown Justin Timberlake.

P.S. John Ritter is also dead.

Now that's what I like to see. The true spirit of American sports coming out in a heated moment.

Wednesday, September 10

When trying to tell the difference between serial killers and computer programmers, I got 6/10.
At least I did better than Ryan.

You know whose body I wish I had? Ellen DeGeneres. Not the face. Just the body. I wish my body looked like hers.

Wow, Dustin Diamond is "performing" at Comix Cafe in Rochester either 4 or 5 days in a row next month. Remember when Saved By The Bell was cool?

Stupid bitches.

I am in a really, really bad mood tonight.

Monday, September 8

Wow, so this is what it feels like to have a real internet connection. I had forgotten.

I'm back at school and so far it feels suprisingly good. On Wednesday I am getting a $3000 credit from my financial aid that didn't go through, so I'm going to pay Joe back for all the money I've borrowed in the last couple of weeks, possibly buy a bike rack for my car, pay for the extra 2 credits for which I just registered (damn RIT!), and then ferret the rest away to pay for my rent and necessary expenses for the rest of the year. WooHoo!
