So I read this article called "Where are all the real leading men?" It's saying how American actors aren't as hot or appealing to adult women as foreign actors. They compared Tobey Maguire(28) to Hugh Jackman(35), Tom Welling(26) to Christian Bale(29), Jake Gyllenhaal(23) to Olivier Martinez(37), and Leonardo DiCaprio(29) to Russell Crowe(39). First, I think the way they came up with these pairings is kind of strange, but anyway, here are the age comparisons of each pairing:

28 to 35
26 to 29
23 to 37
29 to 39

Well yeah, regardless of their actual "hotness," an adult woman is probably going to find a 37 year old more attractive than a 23 year old. Maybe the whole point of the article should have been how actors have to reach a certain ripeness before they're "hot enough." But really, it's so subjective, because I think Jake Gyllenhaal is way more attractive than Olivier Martinez (regardless of age) and I think both Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe are icktastic.
